Life Lesson

I learned this from Mic since way back in the day. He had this sign over his toilet that read,

"If you sprinkle while you tinkle. Be a sweetie and wipe the seatie"

I hope this will help you and impact your lives everyday. I know it has for me. It gets me through the day.

???

I heard this question on TV last night on a new show called: Man and Wife. To me its the question of the century! Can somebody answer this please?

If white people predominantly make love to black people music, do black people ever make love to white people music?

You don't get a second chance

At a first impression...

Trying out this mobile blogging bees wax. This is a random pic from my phone. Here's some advice: Don't pass out in front of friends and have your phone out and about. They might just snap a photo like this and send to a girl you know at 4am.

Slow Down to Speed Up

"I'm not loving you way I wanted to
What I had to do, had to run from you
I'm in love with you, but the vibe is wrong
And that haunted me all the way home

So you never know, never never know
Never know enough, 'til it's over love
Til we lose control, system overload
Screaming: No, no, no, n-no

I'm not loving you way I wanted to
See I wanna move, but can't escape from you
So I keep it low, keep a secret code
So everybody else don't have to know"

Growing up it seems like everyone is vaguely taught the same thing. Respect your elders, do good in school, start a career, and start a family. This is the path that many follow/followed, including myself. However, do you truly have time to find yourself amongst these guidelines? I can't say that did. I only did what I thought I was suppose to. Well everything but start a family. Graduated school, started my career, married the girl that I was with FOREVER. Not until that defining moment of a long term commitment where I questioned who I was. To keep things short my ex and I parted ways 3 years ago and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Its been a long hard struggle. Ups and downs. Joy and pain. Happiness and loneliness. But its taken 3 years for me to define who I am and know what I want and need in my life. It was scary at first because I didn't know how to be single.

But now that I have accepted it... Its been great! I am getting to know myself and appreciating life and being proud of things I accomplished by myself. Whether I find another significant other or not is not a question on my mind anymore. Sure I have a crush and really like somebody right now, many of you know who this person is, but I've learned not to react to these feelings and just let things unfold. Its a new time now and I'm done with following guidelines. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Every event that you encounter, joyful or tragic, makes you who you are. Instead of fighting or fixing. Embrace and learn. Make your own guidelines as you go and go at your own pace. Set your own time and speed limit. Once you can define yourself and be happy... THE REST WILL COME EASILY AND NATURALLY!

Bed Head

I told you guys I am trying to grow out my hair. Still going at it strong. I remember one thing now that made me have a shaved head for so long. BED HEAD! I forgot what"s like to wake up with a messed up dome. Can you tell I used to have a side part?

Virtuosity

*Warning. This entry can get a little graphic. Reader discretion is advised...

Lately I have been dreaming a lot. Some I remember vaguely. Some to the TEE. The other night I had a dream and all I remember from it was getting bitten by a snake on the left side of my chest near my nipple. (your welcome for the visual) It felt so real when I got bit. The pain was unbearable and felt so real. I thought I had gotten bitten in real life. But I muscled through it and continued with my sleep and dealt with the pain. When I woke up, mind you I sleep on my side usually, I noticed I am sleeping on the side I got bit on. I realized that my nose ring had came off and the pointy end was digging into my chest, where the snake had bitten me. You know, next to my nipple (your welcome again) Its weird how your mind and body can connect with each other even if you are not in a state of awareness. So next time you're dreaming and think you are swimming or even drowning. You better wake up! Chances are you pissed your pants.

Fruit of the Looms

I like this photo.
Jen says its "EH" and that her undies look "durrrty"

We're gonna shoot a do over this weekend. She suggested purple heels with toes showing and red undies. I know what you guys are thinking... But I'm gonna be taking the pic this time. I won't be the model. I'll leave that up to her. Lets see if we can do a better job. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Bitter Sweet

Besides fresh oranges. I think this is my new favorite fruit. GRAPEFRUIT! I've always liked them but just hated peeling them. Until now. They come in these awesome fruit cups ready to eat with the "juices flowing" just right! I had 4 of these bad boys yesterday. 2 before and 2 after my workout last night. I recommend you guys try this. You can find it at your local grocery store in the fridge or at Costco in a ginormous pack. You can thank me later for introducing you to this.

Venus, Mars...

and SATURN.
After years of being undercover and looking like it was never going to get finished. Low and behold ANGELICA. She is finally done and looking fine as hell. Like Marcelino said, "never in a million years..." would we think Mr. Picasso would ever finish his own car. He's been painting up masterpieces for everyone, including myself, but we never thought he would finish his baby. Angelica is looking dope and sitting so pretty. Good job Pit! But I think you should've kept her purple. Just sayin...

Fast Friday

Its been a little while since I took my bike out for a ride. Yesterday was a nice enough day where I wasn't busy running around. So I took a ride over to the beach and cruised the strip for awhile. There was an abundance of fixed gear riders out. More than usual. I don't know if its cause of the mainstream that got a hold of this riding culture or that is was just the perfect day for riding. But it was nice seeing everyone out and their different style of fixies. This reminds me of a documentary about fixed riders in Seattle. The scene up there is getting huge. This just adds to the very loving and diverse crowd that Seattle has to offer. For more info, click on the link about the documentary. And if none of you have tried to ride a fixed gear... I highly recommend it! It's like no other riding experience. Its has its own feel. Its own ride. Mixed in with a little bit of danger...

Hold The Bacon

Just recently I got a friend request on Myspace from someone from high school. The request said, "hey long time. you look great!" and I couldn't help but to think... You got 3 kids and look old. Sorry. That is very mean. But that is what instantly popped in my head. Reminds me of what Castro said, "I think we all look the same since high school. Everyone else seems liked they PORKED up!" Given I went through my stage of "porking up" but I'm working hard at getting back to my high school shape or even slimmer. Its funny how we look back and see how things were and how things ended up. Not everything went according to plan. But shit! Not everything is suppose to. Things happen for a reason and I am glad things have unfolded for me the way they have. I wouldn't change a thing! My 10 year reunion is coming up soon and not sure yet on how I feel about going. It'll be fun to everyone and see what they've been up to and how they turned out. Whether if they have "porked up" or not. but I've heard that during these events that people often forget why they are there, to catch up, but they are there to just brag and gloat on what they have or going to accomplish. I have nothing to prove or show off. I've accomplished so much and proven things to myself. I don't feel the need to have to gloat about it. I know I did it and that's all that matters. I just hope they don't think that I've "porked up" Just remember to do things for yourself. If you are happy then it doesn't matter what you've accomplished or have done in your life so far. Take things in strides. Live day to day. Just be you!!!

Happy Friday Guys! Have a Great Weekend!

Not Much to Say Today

I didn't really do anything interesting yesterday or see anything out of the ordinary. Not much to write about. So here is some eye candy to fill the void today. Enjoy...

Wrapped Up

Remember back in the day when you would take home food from the restaurant and they would pile everything up in a Styrofoam box? You would take it home and nuke it in the same container, melting the foam and mixing the lovely toxic chemicals that emit from the Styrofoam all in your food. It would be so much better to take the food out and put in a separate plate. But who does that? If you guys have been to Macaroni Grill you know they put your food in a nice aluminum container that you can stick in the oven and bake it to where the food taste almost fresh, given you follow the instructions. Normally I would straight demolish the food in front of me and have no need for a "doggy bag" but for some reason I couldn't do it and needed a box. I got the Penne Rustica. It was scrumptious! I got my to go box and sat and talked to my friend for a while. As we got up to leave, I got everything I came with and left. Halfway home I was excited to bake my pasta tomorrow. For either lunch or dinner. Who knows? But I know I wanted to get down! Then it came to me that my car still smelled fresh and didn't linger with the slightest hint of macaroniness. I LEFT MY BOX BACK AT THE RESTAURANT! I was so disappointed. I am still devastated today! I think I may go back to Mac Grill and get another order today. Anyone care to join me??? This time make sure I bring my food home please...

Do You Have Permit

For those guns?

I should've asked that to a guy at the gym last night. Going off of B Dot's douche bag experience. I encountered my own last night. This guy was wearing blue jeans, tight black tee, and shoes laced so tight the two end of the laces touched eachother. This guy was a solid 200+, by solid I meant like you stand him next to jello, the jello would be more fit than him. He was badass going up to the double pull up bars and putting his legs across the bars like kids would at the playground and grabbing the second bar with his arms. He would do about 3 upside down push ups and drop and scream out "YEAH!" And run over and grab 50 pound dumbells and throw out his back doing 3 bicep curls. Again screaming "YEAH!" When he got done with those. He did that rotation a few times then stared at himself in the mirror for 5 minutes. I'm not one to give a crap about anyone else at the gym, but this guy was so badass I couldn't help but to watch him. I moved on and did some cardio. And what do you know??? He ends up in that room too! I'm not even gonna mention his routine in there. All I know is if he is there next time I'm at the gym... I'm going to ask him to be my trainer. Cheers to me becoming a true badass!

Get It Right

So we're all guilty of doing this. Dropping a hundo at the bar like its nothing... Point taken on Friday for me. But when it comes to buying groceries or anything for around the house, 50 bucks just makes you wanna cringe. I told you the last 10k I did was the Jump Off for me getting back into shape. And we got another run coming up on OCT. 12th. So no more eating out and grubbing on fast food. Yesterday I went to Costco to load up. I got groceries, protein shakes, protein bars, and healthy snacks. I got enough to last me 2 weeks or so. But when I got to the register and received my total, I was in completely and utterly in SHOCK! $180!!!! I'm still cringing today and my heart has sunk into my stomach. I don't know if I can make it through this week. Please keep an eye out for me and make sure I don't pass out from the massive amount of money I spent at Costco. But come the weekend.... Drinks on me ;)

I'm hungry

Can someone please make me one of these things. They say anything fried is good. I happen to think anything on a stick is even better!

My Mistake

I forgot me and Squeezy already had plans for Halloween. Forgive me? This is what we're dressing up like. Can you tell who's gonna be what? I think I will look better as Danny Devito. She got the whole height thing going on.

Frightmares!

Halloween is around the corner and I am thinking of who or what to dress up like. So far I plan on being Chong Li from Bloodsport. What do you think? Any resemblance? I know my muscles are way bigger...But just pretend ;)

Pink Cookies in a Plastic Bag...

Here's a Throwback For Y'all. Is it me or is everyone dressing like they was in this video now-w-days?

"Your sweet like sugar with your gangster talk,
Want to eat you like a cookie when I see you walk,
With your rayon, silk or maybe even denim,
It really doesn't matter as long as you're in them"

Looking Back

I hate to admit this but I was watching from G's to Gent's last night and started getting real into it. But towards the end Mr. Bentley said something that really caught my attention:

"The best thing about the past is its in the PAST. And every now and then you gonna look up in the rear view mirror. Its ok to look back a little bit. But now its about moving forward."

I agreed and yelled at the TV: CHHUUUUUUUCH!!!!!!!

the end.

Happy Hump Day Guys

Uptown Fade

So I'm growing out my hair still. There was a minor set back when I trimmed off about a 1/4 inch the other week. I just couldn't help it though. It was getting way to nappy. But now I'm at that stage where its just bushy, nappy, and all over the place. I can't do nothing to it but let it fro out. I can't wait till it gets long enough for me to do something to it. Here's a chart of possible ideas I'm gonna do. I'm leaning towards the GUMBY. What cha think?

Follow The Leader

Another 3 day weekend has came and another 3 day weekend has past. The only difference this past weekend was that I didn't do a single thing but sit on my couch and got fat off of junk food. This was the first weekend in a while that I wasn't out partying or causing ruckus. I guess last weekend was the send off of summer and the jump off of winter, hibernation season. To many of you its going to be riding season and I'm hoping to be there with y'all. Mammoth trip being planned as we speak... This is also going to be the jump off for me to start getting back into fitness mode and chill out and relax for a bit. Seems like I've been running around a mile a minute lately and I just need to slow down and absorb in myself for a bit. I've been helping and giving advice to others, but I need to buckle down and start following my own advice and work on myself again. Winter is around the corner and I can't help but to get lonely sometimes. Wanting that someone there to chill by the fire with or have a blockbuster night. But like I said its time for me to start following my own advice and let things pan out like they should. Time to gear up and get ready for another crazy summer. Till then, its hibernation mode...

In Due Time

Change is good. Change is for the better. I believe all aspects of this. To improve yourself is to change. To change things you don't like about yourself and make yourself better from it. To acknowledge your faults and learn to correct them. I am constantly changing things about myself, and I don't mean looks, cause you all know I need plenty of help in that department. I have done the most change within this past year. Learning things about myself. Learning who my true friends are. and ultimately learning what makes me happy! I've learned to do things for myself whether it upsets others or not and also learned to embrace the past but excel from it. People change but values don't. Just remember to change for yourself and not for others. Keep your values and be about yourself. If you guys have noticed change in me or not is irrelevant. I've noticed it physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The year is coming to an end and another is beginning. I'm just hoping to continue to improve. Hope you guys do the same...

We Run LB

So we just finished the Nike Human Race 10k and already have signed up for another one. The 10k was the jump off for the upcoming year. Its hard to believe that I am actually into running. This is coming from a guy that used to run a 16 minute mile in high school, and that was fast for me. Who would've ever thought I could do 6, maybe 13, and even 26 miles... Me and Squeezy are already signed up for the LB run on OCT. 12, 2008. If anyone is interested, here is the link. See you guys at the finish line!

Can't Keep Runnin Away

We did it! We finished the Nike 10k Human Race! After months of anticipation and lack of training it finally came time for us to run this race. This was the 1st of its kind for me and J Squeezy. But we had the help from veteran marathon runners, Mic and B Dot. Though way to packed and to many people walking. We had a blast! Such a good experience. Can't wait for the next one... Half marathon Kermy???

OC - L Beezy - Jet City...

The Holiday weekend has come and gone. No more thumbs rubs, ray bans, bubble gum, karate chops, and full moons. But we had a blast. Good times fam!
